I found 2 bugs at 2:09 in the video.

The first is near the bunny's house. There is a spot behind the house where it seems like you can walk past no issue but there is a random invisible wall stopping you. Why not just have a fence there so it shows that you can't go that way?

And the 2nd bug involves the river. I seen ways to make the scooter glitch out by riding it near the lake so I did it myself on-foot and hey! I can walk on water! But the space is really tight and I can't get out. Resulting in me softlocking the game. And when I tried to reload my file (Which takes longer than it should since the quit option boots you back to your computer) it respawned me in the same spot forcing me to start a new file and start all over.

This basically states that the river can hard-brick your save file if you're not careful.

Hi, thank you for bringing these issues to our attention. I will make sure these are fixed for the next update. Thank you for playing the game!

basically a horror game hiding in a youtube kids game buildin

I love LOVE this little project so much, you guys have no clue. I really wanted to share this animation draft with you all because I want you to know how much I genuinely adore it. I hope you end up making more, there's so much potential and I know the people in the communities I'm in would love it too. They just haven't heard about it yet! I actually PLAYED the game this morning and the twist is done REALLY well. I felt like I was in the hamster's shoes for real.

Looks amazing! Can't wait to see the finished work. Thanks a ton for your support, it means a lot!

I enjoyed this game quite a bit and decided to upload my playthrough to my YouTube channel! I would LOVE to see this game as a longer version.. maybe even flesh out the story more! :)

Amazing game! I love it so much~ Can't wait for more :D

Can I ask what engine did you used to make it? Thank you.

(+1)

We used Unity 2021.3!

Honestly this game gave me animal crossing: city folk vibes before the twist. I guess just the fact they are animals and the game style lmao. Had lots of nostalgia

Thanks for playing and sorry you had some trouble with the camera! The camera is supposed to freely rotate and move up and down so you can see more in front of you. It must have been really frustrating to play with it stuck in the highest position. We've rolled out more improvements to the camera in later versions.

It definitely was annoying, but there are definitely worse bug/issues a game can have! I play a lot of itchio games, so it's honestly the least of my concern. Glad to hear it's fixed though :) really only the reason it was a "problem" for me was because it was a little easy to get lost when stripping myself of the ability to see my surroundings haha

cool game!! a made a vid on it right here! it's 11mins long

Gameplay en ESPAÑOL.

Good game I love this kind of games that look adorable but then turn terrifying.
(+1)

It scared me a lot! I believed it was not a horror game and played it. So it made me so scared to death. .Haha! Especially I love the scene that hamster  said Wait. . . in the woods!! Thank you for your pretty and creppy game! I love it soo much!!

This was fantastic!! The visual aesthetic is on point, the whole vibe really felt like a late era N64 game. There's some well placed tells about the tone change without being too obvious that I really enjoyed. I do wish I got to spend more time making food for cute animals tbh. I think that there was some smart design decisions around the section in the woods with the placement of the holes and shadows on the ground branches. I really love what was done here overall!!

[This Game Was Incredibly Intriguing, And Super Fun To Play]

When I started playing I initially thought, the game would be like 10 minutes long, or less. Turns out, it was a hefty-sized recording with great ambience and atmosphere. Impressive for a game that is inspired by N64 Style Graphics.

Very Amazing Work, Hope To See More!

This game was really fun. Something I think would be really cool is whenever the game continues on further, what if y’all make the whole level glitch out as a second plot instead of just the enemy as well? I’m sorry if that’s too much, but nevertheless, I absolutely loved it and made two parts of the gameplay!

Pleaseeee pplease devs, turn this into an actual little cooking game!! The cooking parts are so fun and I would love if you guys could make a spin off that's wholesome but keeps the cute cheek pouch mechanics!! I've seen soooo many people hold this sam's sentiment it's totally worth trying!! I'd even pay a good $5 for it!!

This was amazing and so well done! Great job building the tension up to the creepy ending! Love it can't wait to see what else you make!

The last part scared me. the game was a 10/10

I beat the game! (SPOILERS BELOW!)

Makes me wonder, though; is it possible to enter the MissingNo area during the chase sequence? I got VERY close, but then I died.

(+1)

It is possible! I got into there and sadly could not find anything of note. It also resets the day if you go back into town from that area.

(+1)

My YouTube video is long because I looked full playthrough up on YouTube, so I complete this game :,)

Btw, I love this game! :D

Hey hey! loved the game to pieces!!! but I'm making this comment to report multiple visual bugs that happened to me while playing!

Hi, I wish I could offer more help with this issue but I haven't heard of anyone else having issues like this. I would recommend updating your graphics card drivers if there are any available and seeing if that helps.

I love the aesthetic of cutesy, Animal Crossing inspired horror games! I never made it to the game ending in my gameplay but I've watched through a couple of peoples videos and the ending was exhilarating. I loved the look of the characters and the environment in general. Also, the soundtrack is ADORABLE.

Had a lot of fun with this one! Would love to one day see a longer version! Here's my video

Such an awesome little game. I really loved how the forest segments saved! I made a video on it.

Thanks for playing our game, and for making a video! I'm glad you liked it 😄

(+1)

Love the game, i like how you can recive diffrent "ending". Dunno if you can call "captured by bunny in the safety" an ending since its just restarts your day.
Struggled with camera btw

Thank you! I'd like to know more about what was making the camera angle difficult. Were you able to rotate it around your character with the mouse? It can't fully look up to the sky, but you should still be able to move it up and down a little to see in front of you or look down at the ground.

(+2)

I can move yes but slow and its just enough for me but can be confusing at some time, i really though i cant look up for some reason and able only see slightly up like when you walking down the street and trying to look only on road and not people around you

(+1)

I honestly really loved this game, I'd totally buy a full game in this style from you, my only issue was the camera angle I think, it's hard to see any ingredients in the distance. Super cool game though and I had a lot of fun editing the video afterwards.

It can't fully look up to the sky, but you should still be able to move it up and down a little to see in front of you or look down at the ground. Also I was curious about your experience with the scooter controls. Were you using the W key to move the scooter forward?

I kept wanting to move the camera to look directly in front of me but it was locked to the ground, I think the best fix would be to zoom out actually, I ended up walking by lot of ingredients that I only noticed while editing my vid. The bike controls were very sensitive, yeah I was using the W key to go forward unless that's wrong,  I was able to get the hang of it at the end there but when I first got on the bike I had no clue how to drive it that's why in most of the video I opted to just walk around. It's kind of hard to explain, but I kept trying to turn by moving my camera. I just hopped back into the game to test out the scooter controls again and I think they are fine now I think it was just the sensitivity that threw me off I'm not sure if lowering that would fix it or if I'm just stupid. Hope you don't take that dookie comment to heart lol I can see the hard work that went into this game.

it is perfect for some horror ngl

This is probably my fav game so far! Can't wait for more :)

my soup fell off the map when i accidentally dropped it & i can't pick it up but the game is good so far, up until the point i messed up :)

Oh dang. 😅 We'll look into this for the next bug fix! Thanks for letting us know.

Super cute game, I love the concept! I ended up getting stuck in a hole and couldn't finish the game. I was also struggling to find ingredients a majority of my time playing due to the camera angle.

same

Well at first i didnt know that you move the cursor down to look up. It was a little confusing. Once i knew that fact it was a lot easier to play and i had no trouble.

Cute, simple little deliveries with a bit more going on after dark. The graphic style, textures, models, and soundtrack are all lovely; immersive, nostalgic, with a fun and (in modern day) unique little aesthetic. I loved this experience very much and am sad there's not more, which I think is telling of how good the experience is. Thank you for the game! I look forward to the future work of everyone who helped make this game!

Impressive horror game.

So. Much. Fun.

This was so good. Keep up the great work!

I'm making a video on it being honest and whole hearted. I really enjoyed the game but I think it's fair to mention the flaws as well. My channel is and it will be out in six days. So check back in then. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCgTTrERl3Zo3Zr-lG-1pqlA o

I know everyones already been saying it, but I will also go ahead and say the base game was super fun! It could easily be a wholesome little game with a little more fleshing out. Anyways, it was a great game and I thoroughly enjoyed myself

love love love the style but id also love if it was developed as a cutesy cooking game w/o the horror elements !!

(+1)

REALLY LIKE THE ASTHETIC OF THE GAME ITSELF AND ALL OF THE UNIQUE MECHANICS!! IT REALL DOES HAVE A CUTE CHARM INTO IT AND NGL ITS SUPER AWESOME TO PLAY!!! KEEP IT UP Y'ALL AND JESUS LOVES YA!!!

Tell you what, drop the horror stuff, turn this into a chill cooking/animal crossing-like game with maybe some light farming elements and you got yourself quite the darling indie game.

I'm not saying what you guys have done here is bad, I'm loving everything of this lil game of yours, the graphics, sounds, gameplay, it all brings me back to the days of when I was a dumb kiddo playing all sorts of weird and different games on my ps1. But myself I'm just tired of this trend of "cutesy horror" games, I've never been into it, mh. Or guess just them "horror" games in general that think just emulating a low-poly ps1-n64 style of graphics is enough to make the game "scary". Most of them don't even get the looks or "feel" right anyway. But this game here, if I had randomly stumbled on some screenshots online, it would've fooled me, would've thought it was some old game I've never seen before, you got the looks and feel really well.

Anyway, enough of me rambling, great work here, hope perhaps to see more of this game or future games in a style like this, but welp, y'all's call, heh. Wish ya luck in whichever project y'all will work on next.
