A downloadable game for Windows
Help Hamster Chef cook yummy dishes for his animal pals! This is a fun, innocent game which does not contain ANY dark twist.
This game was created between March 10 - April 20, 2023 for the Spring N64 Style Graphics Jam #2 (which it won!) The jam's constraint was "incompatible genres." The genres are cooking and... well, you'll have to play it. ;)

This has to be on of the few games that have generally scared me
Very adorable game! So many cute animals. Felt like in Animal crossing <3 definitely no dark twist present. Loved it!
Very cute, I loved it.
Honestly, I'd pay good money for a full version of this that went more in-depth on the character interactions and cooking elements and removed the horror elements. The horror part of the game cut the fun part short enough that it left me wanting more. Not to mention, the scares were sort of cheap. The horror part of the game just kind of felt too much like a stock creepypasta with a few jumpscares to actually be frightening. That said, though, I loved the initial fun of cooking food for your friends, and I'd love it if there was more of that at some point.
Can you make a version for android?

The camera won't stop spinning. I thought it was the controller but it still won't stop. I restarted, it didn't fix. It's making me too nauseous to play.

Was really, really good up until the end. Missingno took me out of the game and that last jumpscare was just awful. Great gameplay otherwise and good atmosphere

Amazing work with this one. Super charming and the controls are great! I especially loved just riding around. The models are really well done and adorable, and Ed did a super great job on the soundtrack! :-)
Definitely gave me that old school 2000's game feel.

Plays great with a controller but I would like adjustable stick sensitivity, but this is an extremely comfy game

I loved it, very cute with a dark side! Graphics were very nostalgic.
This was actually surprising good. Definitely a bit slow burn in the beginning but when things take a turn it definitely got super interesting. Cute and funny, with a dark twist I liked it. Definitely recommend playing. 👍
Does time pass normally, or only when you complete certain tasks? I ended up softlocking the game because I forgot to put my ingredients in my chest before going beyond the wall, and had to spit out my carrots and potatoes, and now I'm stuck in town, can't sleep because I still have an order, can't go beyond the wall because it's still day, and the carrots and potatoes don't respawn.
Also this is definitely a minor complaint, but the lines are way too clean and textures too high-res to be an N64 game. This looks more like a wii game, almost exactly like it was made by the MySims team (and that's a good thing! It's a nice aesthetic!)

Just went through it. I cant give this game enough praise. If there was ever a full version or an update with more story/tasks I'd play all day! A cuddly game with Mario sunshine healing and a twist too enthralling to ignore.
Fantastic game, I would love to play a sequel. If you enjoy old N64 games like Animal Crossing, play this game.

One of my favorite indie games I've played this year!
The graphics/gameplay reminded me of old n64/gamecube games I used to play all the time, and it being controller compatible (plus the controls working very smooth and easy) made it an enjoyable experience!

I actually played this without FULL READING THE DAMN DESCRIPTION AND OH LORD I JUMPED.... its a 10/10 tho, liked the story and how it managed to get darker, plus the animations and everything were just amazing
This game is absolutely brilliant and I can't recommend it enough, super fun, cute art style that makes for some really good scares!
I really liked this game, if you need an english/spanish translation I would do it for free
